A respected international engineering consultancy is seeking experienced Hydropower Engineers to join their growing team. This role supports the development and delivery of renewable energy projects across Sub-Saharan Africa, South and Southeast Asia, Scandinavia, and the UK. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable development by enabling access to clean energy in regions with low electrification rates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engineering tasks across a portfolio of hydropower and pumped storage projects.
  • Managing projects and maintaining communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Preparing technical reports and documentation.
  • Collaborating with senior engineers, CAD technicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conducting site visits to existing and proposed hydropower plants, primarily overseas.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the hydropower or pumped storage industry.
  • Strong understanding of hydropower systems and project lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
