SearchWe are looking for an experienced Project Engineer for underground works to support complex tunnelling and hydropower related construction works. This role is fully site-based and will work closely with the underground Project Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of underground activities during the construction phase of a large hydropower project.
Key Requirements:
Candidates must have hands‑on experience in:
- D&B tunnel excavation
- Shotcrete, rock bolts, and wire mesh support
- Hydraulic waterway and penstock construction
- Shaft excavation and concrete lining
- Raise bore works
- Steel lining installation and welding
- Grouting of steel lining
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Strong background in underground or tunnelling projects
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, site-based environment
- Strong safety and quality mindset
- Highly professional temp
Salary and package:
An employee contract which will include accommodation, travel allowance, medical insurance. The salary will vary depending on years’ experience and can be paid in USD as a NET amount, it can be negotiated. You will need to commit to around 4 years.
