A well-established international consultancy is seeking an experienced Account Leader to support business development and project delivery in the Hydropower and Pumped Storage sector. Based from a choice of their UK offices, this role focuses on markets in Europe, Africa, and Latin America and involves both strategic business development and customer-focused project leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
- - Supporting the delivery of the business development strategy for hydropower and pumped storage.
- - Driving revenue growth and managing cost of sales for a defined programme.
- - Preparing and implementing market plans, customer management plans, and prospect capture strategies.
- - Contributing to wind and/or solar energy sub-sector strategies.
- - Influencing customer-focused project delivery and building strong client relationships.
- - Collaborating with resource managers to define project resource and skill needs.
- - Leading customer-based project work with increasing focus on portfolio delivery.
- - Supporting delivery of the hydropower and pumped storage business plan actions.
Your profile:
- Relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering) or similar qualification.
- International experience in hydropower and pumped storage, delivering large-scale projects.
- Senior-level experience in an energy consultancy or relevant industry.
- Proven track record in developing value propositions and winning major technical and commercial proposals.
- Commercial experience in consultancy-based project delivery.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills with a customer-focused approach.
