A major RCC dam project is seeking experienced Engineers to be based on site during construction to support planning, monitoring, materials, and quality assurance throughout. These roles will provide technical guidance, readiness checks, training, and continuous support during RCC dam execution. You will be employed by the consultancy; their scope is as follows:

• Guide all core aspects of RCC dam construction, including planning placement sequences, advising on production and cooling strategies, supporting full‑scale RCC trials, and overseeing aggregate processing, RCC batching, transport, lift placement, compaction, joint preparation, formwork, galleries, shafts, curing, and protection.
• Supervise foundation preparation and treatment works such as levelling concrete, consolidation grouting, and installation of grout and drainage curtains, along with construction and instrumentation of galleries and shafts.
• Establish and maintain a structured quality program for RCC works. This includes defining testing requirements for materials, fresh and hardened RCC, and trial placements; reviewing and interpreting results; monitoring performance trends; and recommending corrective actions when needed.
• Provide QA/QC program and quality management system
• Prepare ongoing QA/QC documentation, ensure compliance with project standards, and provide practical guidance on accelerated curing.
• Provide review and analysis of all data, providing QA/QC reports during construction, also monitoring

• Training

Expert Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant fields of construction management of RCC dams, ideally of minimum 140 m height
• Civil Engineering Degree
