We are inviting applications from experienced Dam Engineers to support the construction supervision of the Upper and Lower Dams for a landmark pumped storage hydropower project in Indonesia. This role focuses on overseeing the Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) works, ensuring that construction activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and technical compliance.

The selected candidate will play a key role in reviewing and approving construction methods, equipment, and quality assurance programs, while also supporting project documentation and coordination with the Client and project team. This is a hands-on, field-based assignment.

The RCC Dam Engineer will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and approving:
• Temporary works and facilities for RCC dam construction
• Contractor’s equipment and construction methods
• Quality assurance program standards
• Maintaining accurate records of all project activities
• Advising on settlement of claims
• Inspecting and directing safety and environmental control measures
• Supporting the Project Team Leader in issuing orders to the contractor
• Reviewing and approving quantity surveys
• Monitoring progress and initiating corrective actions
• Preparing the project completion report
• Preparing and submitting required reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 15 years in dam construction supervision
• Mandatory: Experience in concrete gravity dam supervision
• Preferred: Experience in RCC dam construction supervision

Salary:

Basic Salary - up to 12,500 USD NET / month. This is a 10 month contract + accommodation + 2 flights home during the assignment (economy).
