We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (Dam – CFRD) to join a major Hydropower construction project in Pakistan. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in overseeing the construction and supervision of a large-scale Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam (CFRD), ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be employed by one of the JV’s consultancy partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise all dam construction activities on site.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Review construction methodologies and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify construction risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Prepare and review technical reports, site records, and progress updates.
• Support the successful delivery of the hydropower project within programme and budget requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (M.Sc is preferred)
• Minimum 20 years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction and/or construction supervision of large dam projects.
• Minimum 8 years of experience working on CFRD (Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam) projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex dam construction activities in challenging site environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience on large hydropower or water infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous.

What's on Offer:

Salary up to 14,000 USD NET per month on an employee contract with paid holiday. 3-4 return trips home per year. On a 3 year contract with the possibility of extension.
