A leading European engineering firm is seeking a strategic and operational Lead for its Energy & Hydro division. This is a unique opportunity to assist in shaping impactful, multidisciplinary projects in a collaborative and international environment.

Its essential you have technical experience in the design of hydropower infrastructure and backed up by a academic background in civil engineering (structure, geotechnics, hydraulics etc.)

Leadership and Project Management skills are also very important in order to manage high demanding clients but also employee who need someone they can look up to

Key Responsibilities:

• Share the Lead of the Energy & Water sector, overseeing strategy, operations, and project delivery.
• Ensure technical excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction across hydropower and hydraulic infrastructure projects.
• Drive business development efforts in Switzerland and internationally.
• Cultivate a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
• Represent the firm with clients, partners, and institutional stakeholders.
• Contribute to the broader management and strategic direction of the Swiss entity.

Key experience required:

• Degree in civil, hydraulic, or related engineering with added qualifications in leadership, finance, or management.
• Proven experience in complex hydropower or underground works projects.
• Strong decision-making skills, with a holistic and pragmatic approach.
• Skilled in legal, financial, and contractual aspects of project management.
• Fluent in English & Ideally, Italian, French or German.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Switzerland and abroad.

Salary & Package:

Basic Salary – 160,000 CHF / Gross per annum + Excellent Benefits package and the opportunity to live in arguably the most beautiful country in the world.
