A local power producer active in Hydropower generation & distribution that supply local public authorities and energy companies based in the West of Switzerland are currently hiring an Environmental Project Manager.

They are actively contributing 100% renewable energy for their local region that also includes solar & Wind, they are looking to expand their team of experts and continue to invest in renewable assets to become the largest renewable energy producer in Switzerland.

You will manage to the environmental impacts within the framework of concession applications for both new and existing hydroelectric plants that will also include remediation of these facilities. It’s imperative that you support these projects from the planning stage through to implementation and assist with the commission and support of environmental consults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Degree in Environmental; ideally a Masters’
• Experience in Water projects; particularly in Water rights or Hydraulic Power rehabilitation and river revitalisation
• Interest in Hydroelectric projects that include: Legal; Tech; Planning; Hydrology & Energy.
• Ability to work independently or part of a project team
• Must be Fluent French / German speaker

Salary & Package:

Basic Salary: +115,000 CHF Gross per annum + Bonus (% dependent on seniority) + 5 x weeks’ vacation period + Professional Development + Standard Swiss Package
