A growing engineering team in Canada is seeking an experienced leader to drive major infrastructure and hydraulic works. This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives on technical excellence, team leadership and delivering complex projects that shape communities. You will join the office at an earlier phase and help with it’s growth for this international consultancy.
Role Overview:
- Lead and coordinate all phases of infrastructure and hydraulic engineering projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule and budget.
- Supervise multidisciplinary teams, assign work, mentorship, review outputs and uphold rigorous QA/QC standards.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian engineering codes, regulations and permitting requirements.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, partners, contractors and public authorities.
- Participate in stakeholder and permitting meetings.
- Support the growth of the local office through mentoring, proposal development and business development activities.
What You Bring:
- 15+ years of experience in civil or geotechnical engineering, ideally with exposure to large infrastructure, hydropower, pumped storage, or major transportation projects.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).
- P.Eng. designation in Canada
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Fluency in English; French is an asset.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural environments.
