An SME is seeking a Hydropower Project Manager to join the production department’s technical support division within an Engineering office. In this pivotal role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and drive the development of new hydroelectric power plants—from early feasibility studies through to full project delivery.
Your expertise will directly support the long-term strategy for locally expanding hydropower and strengthening energy storage capacity.
As Hydropower Project Manager, you will:
- Lead and deliver complex projects and sub‑projects for new hydropower plant construction.
- Manage projects from preliminary study through planning, detailed design, and implementation.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and manage external engineering specialists.
- Ensure project execution aligns with national energy objectives and technical best practices.
- Contribute to the step‑by‑step realisation towards hydropower expansion goals.
Your Profile:
A motivated professional with:
- A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, ideally with strong hydraulic or geotechnical engineering expertise.
- 5+ years’ experience in planning and delivering hydraulic or underground structures, preferably, within the hydropower sector.
- Proven project management experience—whether as planner, project owner, or contractor.
- Strong interest in hydropower‑related fields such as electromechanics, environmental impacts, energy systems, and regulatory frameworks.
- A dynamic, flexible mindset and an ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment.
- Capacity to work independently and effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Native German, strong English and French language skills will be an asset.
- Existing right to work within the EU.
Salary:
A comprehensive salary to 125,000EUR gross / annum + bonus in a flexible working environment.
